Young People Ask: Kissing in a Christian relationship before Marriage?!

We must fully comprehend what is our ultimate purpose in living our lives. And as a follower of Jesus Christ, our ultimate purpose is to glorify and honor Him in all that we are and in all that we do, and that includes how we deal our relationship with others.

In a relationship, it is essential to know that your partner should draw you closer to God, and not drag you in certain situations that a Christian should never be in. God gave you that person so both of you can serve and glorify Jesus instead of just letting you compromise and pull you away from your faith.

So this leads us to the question: should Christians kiss before marriage? The Bible says, “Everything is permissible for me, but not everything is beneficial.” (1 Corinthians 6:12) The standards of the world may permit you to cross intimate boundaries with your partner, but as Christians, we should know better that this doesn’t apply to what God has called us to be. Sexual intimacy is only permitted by God in married couples, no one else. Staying pure and holy before marriage is not a mere obedience, it’s an act of worship.

So what does it mean for the both of you to live as Christians? Can you kiss before marriage? If you’re struggling with this kind of question, here’s an answer for you! click on the image below
